Day 13 – Goodbye San Francisco

1st of July 2014;

Finally a bit of a sleep in! We got up at 10am as check out was at 11am. We checked out, left our luggage at the hostel and headed next door for breakfast which was quite entertaining because Emily was still drunk from the night before and was making quite a scene. From breakfast we headed to the Ferry building via cable car which was filled with gourmet market stores, I bought some macaroons, however they weren’t as good as I had hoped. From here we went back to Fisherman’s Wharf to finish exploring and so Emily could get the piercing she had wanted.

After some shopping we headed to In n Out Burger for lunch as Sim had been talking about it everyday since she arrived. It was alright, the portion sizes weren’t as big as usual and the food wasn’t as oily and dirty as we previously had been eating, so they are both positives. After lunch we caught a cab to the Palace of Fine Arts and wow what a beautiful huge place! It made people look like ants compared to its huge columns and beautiful dome. I would love to have my wedding in this beautiful place!

After freezing our asses off to explore this beautiful place we decided to catch a cab down the famous Lombard street, which was so bendy and steep but lined with beautiful houses and beautiful gardens. The cab continued on dropping us at Westfield Shopping Mall where we spent the next few hours. After shopping we decided to head back to the little Thai place near our hotel for some dinner..yummy!

After dinner we walked back to our hotel where we got changed and grabbed our luggage before jumping on the airport shuttle and heading to the airport. San Fran you were beautiful! Here we come Miami!

Weather xx
